Use the SiteHive API

SiteHive Enviro Pro includes full API access, so you can build your own dashboards, integrations and applications on the clean, consistent environmental data collected through SiteHive. The API is a REST interface, documented with OpenAPI, that gives you a modern, structured way into your monitoring data from third-party platforms, reporting tools or internal systems.

How it helps you

With the SiteHive API you can:

  • Access monitoring data from SiteHive Hexanode devices and from any third-party devices connected to SiteHive Enviro Pro.

  • Work with consistent, standardised data formats for smoother integration.

  • Develop custom workflows, alerts, analytics and visualisations.

  • Access data from a connected device even if it has no API of its own, as long as it is integrated into SiteHive Enviro Pro.

That makes it easier to centralise your environmental data, create actionable insights and automate reporting without manual exports or repetitive tasks. The API is data out; to bring other suppliers' devices into SiteHive, see Connect third-party devices.

For where your data is stored and how access is controlled, see Data governance and IT security.

  3. Have API access enabled for your organisation. Contact your Regional Success Manager or support@sitehive.com and we will set it up.
