Which Hexanode do I have?
There are two generations of SiteHive Hexanode devices in use on sites: current devices (which we call Next-gen) and original devices. They have different form factors but are installed and set up the same way on site.
SiteHive Hexanode devices (Next-gen)
The current set of SiteHive Hexanode devices deployed to sites.
There are four types of devices:
Noise+Dust — combines the Noise and Dust capabilities in one device. The tallest device: a spherical foam windshield on top, with the dust module in the body below.
Noise — noise monitoring. A spherical foam windshield on a shorter hexagonal body.
Dust — dust monitoring. A flat-topped hexagonal column with no windshield.
Vibration — vibration monitoring. A compact hexagonal puck that mounts directly onto the structure being measured.
Original devices
Sites may have a combination of current (Next-gen) devices and original devices.
There are three types of original devices:
Noise+Dust
Noise
Vibration
Setup Guides
