Advanced reporting

Reporting in SiteHive Enviro Pro adds what a project report usually needs beyond the graphs: weather details, out-of-hours periods highlighted on graphs, a comprehensive events list, device statistics (stats cards and daily averages tables) and attended reporting.

The three report types are the same as in standard reporting: periodic reports for weekly, monthly or quarterly insights, Point in Time reports for a specific time and location, and attended reports summarising in-person monitoring sessions captured with the SiteHive Attended app.

PDF reports are generated from Reporting > PDF Reports in SiteHive Enviro (see Create a PDF report).

The Reporting page with the Noise aspect and the PDF Reports tab selected, showing three report options: Periodic Report, Attended Summary Report and Point in Time Report

Periodic reports

Periodic reports are the most comprehensive report type, typically used for any number of devices or locations over periods from a week to six months.

Reports are generated for one aspect (noise, dust or vibration) at a time.

When you generate a periodic report you choose what it contains:

  • Device list and map: a list of the selected devices and a map showing their locations.

  • Stats cards: the key stats for the period, typically averages and maximums depending on the aspect.

  • Telemetry graphs: a graph per device or location, with options for the averaging period, thresholds, and weather-affected or out-of-hours periods.

  • Device details: a list of devices with make, model and calibration status.

  • Attended monitoring: a summary of all attended monitoring in the period.

Your settings are saved automatically, so the next report starts from the same configuration as the last.

Point in Time reports

A Point in Time report is a quick one-page summary of what was happening at a specific date, time and location on your site.

It is usually made after the fact, often in response to a complaint (someone says there was a lot of construction noise yesterday).

You pick a device and a time. The report gives both context (a graph of the whole day) and the specific results from that time (noise levels, images), and you can add your own commentary on site activity.

A Point in Time report: an orange pin on a map beside weather data and the time and location, and a graph of 15-minute noise data for the day showing LAeq, LA10, LA90 and LAmax

Attended reports

Attended noise, water, dust, vibration and odour measurements add a subjective expert assessment of site conditions to a site's continuous real-time monitoring.

Those measurements usually need to become formal reports, with contextual detail added to the captured results. SiteHive automates that whole process.

Teams use the SiteHive Attended app on their phones in the field. Every key detail is captured on the spot and is available in SiteHive immediately.

The Attended Monitoring table of results, one row per measurement, with a PDF button at the far right of each row

Each record in the Attended Monitoring table has a PDF button at the far right. Clicking it generates a PDF of that attended monitoring result. The PDF is generated each time the button is pressed, so you can edit the form's details at any time, add more detail or attach files, and generate it again.

The one-page attended monitoring PDF: the location and weather captured automatically, the compliance status with the component results, and the attached images

Each PDF fits a single page and includes what was captured automatically, such as the weather at the time of monitoring and the location. The results section shows the compliance status clearly and breaks down the component results, and any attached images are shown, making a complete, easy-to-read record for the project.
